Community members are invited to explore the new Frolic Event Center, located just  outside Hudson at 113 Dean Lee Drive in Cedar Falls, during a public open house from noon to  6 p.m. Saturday, June 6.

The open house will offer visitors an opportunity to tour the venue at their own pace,  enjoy snacks, desserts and beverages, and learn more about the facility’s event spaces and  amenities. Couples planning weddings, businesses considering corporate events and  community members are all welcome to attend.

“There is no sales pressure — just come, ask questions and discover,” Jenny Boevers  said.

The venue can accommodate events ranging from 100 to more than 400 guests and  features bridal and groom suites, breakout rooms for conferences and meetings, a spacious  patio with outdoor seating and scenic views of nearby wetlands.

“We are thrilled to provide the Cedar Valley with a modern, chic, beautiful new venue to  enjoy,” Boevers said. “We think it’s stunning and hope you will, too.”

According to Boevers, the venue was designed with hospitality and guest experience in  mind. The property includes thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces intended to provide a  serene backdrop for ceremonies and special events, a covered drop-off canopy for guests  arriving during inclement weather and ample parking. The wetlands behind the venue offer a  peaceful natural setting for outdoor gatherings and celebrations.

“On behalf of the local owners, this is a dream come true,” Boevers said. “We love  family, friends and creating special memories. We’ve worked hard to create a unique  environment that we can provide to the community and look forward to meeting many of you.”

Visitors are invited to stop by, enjoy refreshments, tour the property and see firsthand  what the new venue has to offer.
