Undefeated and United: Seventh-graders Reflect on Season to Remember
Written by the 7th grade volleyball team
This volleyball season was one to remember! Not only did our team finish undefeated, but we also grew so much as players and as a team. From the beginning of the season to the end, we learned new skills, improved our abilities, and became closer as teammates.
Throughout the season, we worked hard to improve our passing, serving, and hitting. Every practice gave us a chance to learn something new, work on our weaknesses, and become more confident on the court. We learned the importance of communicating, encouraging one another, and working together to reach our goals. We became better not just because of our individual skills, but because we learned how to play as a team.
A huge part of our success came from our coach, Kennedy. She did an amazing job teaching us, encouraging us, and pushing us to become the best players we could be. She believed in us, helped us learn from our mistakes, and reminded us of what we were capable of accomplishing. We are so thankful for the time, effort, and dedication she put into making this season so special.
Going undefeated was an incredible accomplishment, but the best part of this season was everything we learned along the way. We built friendships, gained confidence, and created memories that we will carry with us long after the season ends.
Thank you, Coach Kennedy, for making this season so unforgettable and for helping us grow both on and off the court. We could not have asked for a better coach or a better team to share this experience with. This season will always be something we are proud of!
