Rick L. Calhoon age 71, of Buckingham, died Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Cedar  Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. He was born in Kirksville, Missouri, on August 17, 1954, the  son of Donald and Mary (Spears) Calhoon.   Rick graduated from Davenport Central High School with the class of 1972.

Francis “Gene” Winter, 86, of Waterloo passed away at UPH/Allen Hospital following a brief illness on  Friday, December 12, 2025. He was born across the railroad tracks in his family home in Jackson Junction, Iowa, on  March 3, 1939. Gene was the son of Lorenz and Pearl Winter. His
