Donald Edward Swanson, 100, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at  Pinnacle Specialty Care in Cedar Falls following a stroke.   He was born July 15, 1925, in Pine Island, Minnesota, the son of Ivan and Dena  (Bushman) Swanson. He graduated from Cedar Falls High School before serving in the  U.

Darlene Lavon (Amis) Prather, was born on February 6, 1925, on the farm, near  Greenville, Iowa to Farris (F.E.) Amis and Anna Marie (Swanson) Amis. She passed away at the  Spencer Hospital at the age of 100 on October 1, 2025, after living a life full of adventure and

John D. Eveland, 85, of Waterloo, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025,  at Western Home Communities in Cedar Falls after a lengthy battle with  Parkinson's Disease.  He was born May 30, 1940, in Yonkers, New York, the son of John R. and Janie  (Sands) Eveland. He graduated

DeArgo Lawrence Clopton, 34, of Cedar Falls, passed away on Friday,  September 26, 2025, at his home in Cedar Falls. He was born in Waterloo on  October 24, 1990, the son of Neil Clopton and Nora Fetter. Although growing up in  Waterloo and Hudson, DeArgo always considered Hudson his home.

Jean Audrey Beenken (Koestler), 95, of Buckingham, IA finished her  earthly work and went home to be with God on September 23, 2025. Born on  August 27, 1930, in Ledyard, IA, Jean grew up on a farm with her parents Everyl  and Bernice Koestler and nine brothers and sisters. Jean

Kerr, 101, of Tripoli, died Friday, September 12, 2025, at Bartels Lutheran Retirement  Community in Waverly.  Funeral services were held on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the United Methodist Church in  Frederika with Lay Speaker Betty Schmudlach and Lay Speaker Neil Whitney officiating.  Interment will follow at Alcock
