Pirates Sweep East Marshall Tournaments; Both JV and Varsity Bring Home Titles

The Hudson volleyball program had a dominant showing on Saturday, Sept. 13, as both the JV and Varsity teams went undefeated at their respective tournaments hosted by East Marshall. Both squads walked away with championship titles, continuing to build momentum mid-season. 

The JV team improved to 4-1 overall, showing strong teamwork and grit throughout the day. 

On the varsity side, the Pirates put together another impressive performance to raise their record to 18-6. Hudson was led by junior Kaleigh Leary, who tallied 30 kills on 75 attempts with a hitting percentage of .253, and freshman Paige Davis, who added 29 kills on 77 attempts, hitting .221. 

Next up, the Pirates will host the Denver Cyclones in a rivalry matchup on Tuesday, before press time.
