Obituary: Judith Lorene (Floden) Weyer

Judith Lorene (Floden) Weyer, 85, died peacefully at her home in Huxley, Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026.

A family graveside service will be held at a later date.

Born May 31, 1941 to Stanley C. and E. Louise (Jennings) Floden in Story County, Iowa. Proud member of the first class to graduate from Ballard High School in 1959.

Judie worked as an administrative assistant at several businesses. One of her favorites was being secretary at Fjeldberg Lutheran Church.

She married Roger A. Weyer on Dec. 12, 1970. Devoted wife for 55 years. They shared many adventures with friends and family. Judie enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, photography, and scrapbooking.

Survivors include children, Nikki (Bill) Whitney, Lisa (Jay) Whitesel, Marty Weyer, Cyndi (Doug) Rose; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; sister Beth Albrecht; sister-in-law Mary Weyer; brother-in-law Jim Weyer.

Proceeded by her husband Roger Weyer; her parents, sister Barb Ozmun; brother-in-law’s Curtis Weyer, Ted Albrecht and sister-in-law Bev Weyer.

Judie was strong in her faith and loved by her family; she will be remembered.
