Obituary: Coleen Driscoll

Coleen Driscoll, 65, of Waterloo, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 20, 2026, at  her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on November 19, 1960, in Minneapolis,  Minnesota, the daughter of Kirby and Joan (Osgerby) Bevans. She graduated from Expo High  School and later attended cosmetology school. Coleen married Mark Driscoll on March 6,  1993, in Waterloo.  

Coleen was a kind and loving woman whose warmth touched everyone she met. She  had a rare gift for seeing the good in people and made those around her feel truly valued. Her  greatest joy was her family-she loved her children and grandchildren with her whole heart and  shared a deep bond with her husband. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love will live on  in all who knew her.  

She is survived by her husband, Mark; her daughters, Tara Bevans, Shawna (Levi)  Belton; her stepsons, Justin (Britta) Driscoll, and Bryan (Shyniece) Driscoll; her grandchildren,  Alyssa, Emily, Tracker, and Niko Newell; Knox, Noah, and Myles Belton; Jamieson, Jeremiah,  and Ireland Driscoll; and Layana Driscoll; her sisters, Kathy (Dan) Cantonwine and Eileen (Scott)  Melohn.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Tom "Kirby" Bevans, and her  beloved Pomeranians, Peggy and Sadie.  

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Locke at Tower Park with  burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
