Hudson NHS seeks volunteers to help fight hunger

By Siri Olsen

Hudson High School’s National Honor Society is inviting students, families and community members to join its efforts to fight hunger by volunteering at the Northeast Iowa Food Bank in Waterloo.

The volunteer event will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the Northeast Iowa Food Bank.

Organizers are encouraging members of the Hudson community to lend a hand and help support neighbors in need.

Those interested in participating are asked to complete the volunteer form by scanning the QR code accompanying this article. Upon arrival at the food bank, volunteers should let staff know they are participating with Hudson’s Food Drive event.
