Hudson Lions Honored for Visionary Service

The Warren Coleman Award recognizes Iowa Lions Club members who exemplify outstanding  community service and dedication to the Lions mission. Hudson Lions Club President Bert  Strayer (right) presented the award to Jim Phares (left) and Bruce Johnson (center) in  recognition of their years of commitment to Lions KidSight vision screenings. The pair  conducted screenings for children in Hudson, North Tama, and Orange Township schools and  preschools. Despite the time and travel involved, both say they find joy and purpose in helping  children see more clearly.
