Hudson Girls Cross Country Finishes 3rd at State

The Hudson girls cross country team capped its season on the podium with a third-place finish at the 2025 Class 1A State Championship on Saturday.

The Pirates scored 143 points as a team. South Winneshiek earned the state title with 125 points, and Sumner-Fredericksburg took runner-up with 136.

Hudson advanced to the state meet after winning the Class 1A-5 State Qualifying Meet.
