Hudson Days 5K Returns July 18
The 2026 Hudson Days 5K Run/Walk, sponsored by St. Timothy Lutheran Church of Hudson, will take place Saturday, July 18, at 8 a.m. in Hudson City Park.
The annual event invites runners and walkers of all ages to participate while supporting a good cause. Organizers noted that 100 percent of the proceeds from the race will be reinvested into Hudson Days, helping fund activities and events that bring the community together each year.
A free Kids Dash will follow at 8:30 a.m., giving younger participants an opportunity to join in the fun. No registration is required for the Kids Dash, though participants will not receive an event T-shirt.
Families are encouraged to take advantage of the Family Registration Rate when signing up for the 5K. Participants who register by Friday, July 10, are guaranteed an event T-shirt featuring a custom design created by Hudson High School student and Hudson Herald intern Ken Kane. The shirt incorporates a patriotic red, white and blue theme with a “Small Town USA” Hudson Days 5K Walk + Run logo celebrating the community spirit of the annual event.
Packet pickup will be available Friday, July 17, beginning at 6 p.m. during the Hudson Lions Pie Social at City Park. Participants may also pick up their packets beginning at 7:30 a.m. on race day.
Registration is available online at raceroster.com/events/2026/130645/hudson-days-5k-walk-and-run.Organizers extended special thanks to co-sponsor Thrivent and Ken Kane for their support of the event and contribution to the T-shirt design.
