Another Hudson Days in the Books, Thanks to the People Behind the Scenes

 Another Hudson Days has come to a close, and before we move on to the next event on the calendar, it’s worth taking a moment to recognize the people who make one of Hudson’s favorite traditions possible.

While many of us spend the weekend enjoying the parade, live music, vendors, activities and fireworks, a dedicated group of volunteers spends months planning and countless hours working behind the scenes to make it all happen.

The Hudson Days Committee organizes everything from vendors, entertainment and activities to the parade, schedules and countless behind-the-scenes details. Their work doesn’t stop once the celebration begins. Throughout the weekend, committee members are busy setting up, answering questions, solving problems, cleaning up and making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.

The committee also spends the year fundraising through events like the November vendor and craft fair, Easter egg deliveries, bake sales and other community events that help make Hudson Days possible.

Of course, the celebration wouldn’t happen without the generous support of local businesses, sponsors and community members who continue to give their time, talents and financial support each year.
