Amvets welcomes community to public events

The AMVETS Post 82 in Hudson is reminding residents that membership is not required to attend most events held at the Amvets Hall.  

Several public events are scheduled in the coming months:  

• The AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary will host a pasta dinner from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 13. 

• The AMVETS Riders will serve breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon on Feb. 8, March 8, April  12 and May 10.  

• The Sons of AMVETS will hold fish fries from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 20 and March 20.  Proceeds from these events help support local and state veterans, scholarships, the community Easter egg hunt, Business Boo and other service projects.  

Community members are encouraged to attend and take part in supporting these efforts.
